Two Saint Paul Neighborhoods Using Facebook to Fill Vacant Homes

[Minnesota Public Radio] On the West Side and in the Summit-University neighborhood residents are hoping that some Facebook postings may encourage their friends to consider buying a home in the neighborhood. “People will post Facebook updates describing the abandoned properties and nearby schools or amenities. Neighbors won't get paid for participating; their benefit may come from having a friend move into their neighborhood.” (read more)
