Jordan Advantage (forthcoming, Jordan neighborhood)

Description: Jordan's Board of Directors voted at its 2/11/09 meeting to establish a Jordan Advantage Program to encourage the purchase of vacant, boarded or foreclosed properties in the Jordan neighborhood. $5,000 will be available to purchasers to use as part of a down payment, closing or other costs. This will be in addition to any money available to the purchaser under the Minneapolis Advantage Program. A total of $50,000 has been approved by the board, and the program will be administered by Neighborhood Housing Services. Purchasers must meet the same requirements as the Minneapolis Advantage Program except for income guidelines. More details will be provided as they become available.
