The McKinley neighborhood is a tree filled, residential neighborhood that sits right on the Mississippi River, just seven minutes from the heart of the downtown Minneapolis. With a neighborhood school, park, three Christian Churches, a Buddhist temple and a Mosque, the diversity of the neighborhood is definitely a highlight for all residents and visitors. The neighborhood is served by frequent transit service along Lowry and Lyndale Avenues. Some of Minneapolis’ highest hills are found to the southeast of Dowling and Lyndale Avenues.

“A few of the reasons I love Dayton’s Bluff: eagles building a nest in the tree across the street; the breathtaking views of downtown; immediate access to hiking and biking trails; two minutes to the Farmers Market; eclectic architecture; and engaged and involved neighbors.”

- Julie
