Project for Pride in Living (PPL)—Emergency Repair Fund

Description: Emergency Repair assists people with essential repairs that would otherwise threaten their homeownership and/or affect their safety or health. PPL arranges for the house repairs and pays 75% of the costs up to $500. Common repairs include: faulty wiring, malfunctioning heating systems, leaking roofs, clogged drains, and broken doors and windows. Eligible clients include:

Single parents
Disabled adults
Senior citizens
Households where the income is at or below 50% of the Area Median Income ( AMI ) and who are single-family home owners residing in the house, in St. Paul or Minneapolis
Ability to pay 25% of the cost of the needed repair at the time of repair.
